Rule of law when it comes to the police: GUILTY til proven innocent. Shouldn't be that way but it's the politically correct world we live and work in now.

All they can normally do at the CJ is repeat what they're told because they have laid off so many reporters and other staff. Hopefully one day someone else will buy it from Gannett having a greater interest in finding out what the facts are instead of publishing a glorified blog. The TV news is no better. They are usually just looking to meet a deadline and get 30 seconds of video.
