20 year sentence handed down for 20-year-old who shot LMPD officer

The press is so passive they don't even bother to look into who was charged with what. Just accept what the PIO says at face value every time. Some of the articles in the Courier-Journal about recent violent crimes are like "Man was shot in west end. Police are seeking to question 2 men." Nothing about who, what, where, why, or when. No description of the suspects and definitely not their race. It's the worst journalism in the country. Thankfully we have an internet and can sometimes get better coverage on Louisville crime from the Lexington news.
