The crime report shows it was a robbery not just a shoplifting. You can't expect news reporters to dig this deep though. Only us internet geeks have time for it.

4000 BLOCK OF POPLAR LEVEL RD

Listed subject took listed property without payment at listed location. When subject was approached she attempted to get away by causing lacerations to a Loss Prevention employee.
