Police union takes on councilwoman over column

i know it says for no reason, not sure on the others but james taylor they heard a women screaming from the apartment. a domestic is a reason to be there.

Do your research. You are embarrassing yourself.

Michael Newby – was armed with a handgun and committing a felony at the exact time he was shot by police.

James Taylor – was shot by police after he attempted to cut an officer with a box cutter.

Desmond Rudolph – was a felon many times over (even as a juvenile) and was attempting to run over officers with a Ford Bronco in an alleyway after he stole the truck.

Rodney Abernathy – physically fought with and assaulted officers after they responded because Abernathy was beating himself with a tire jack. Officers were unable to stop Abernathy with batons and pepper spray and finally had to use deadly force when Abernathy tried to take an officers weapon.

None of these men were stopped for “no reason” and none of them was unjustifiably shot by a police officer. You will have to do better than that.
