Threats based on movie taken seriously by police

Getting young people up at 0300 to do PT and yell at them is just pointless hazing. Teach them teamwork to achieve a shared goal or physical fitness habits they will want to continue the rest of their life instead. A lot of what they do in military basic training is considered useless by the instructors but they keep doing it to maintain an image. There are some highly skilled and highly disciplined militaries like the British Royal Marines that don't yell at all.
