Threats based on movie taken seriously by police

At least one guy isn't taking any chances. It's too bad pop culture and bad parenting has created so many bad seed psychopaths who should really have "Born to Lose" tatooed on their forehead.

There are a million things about this that scare me, and I just found out about it from a link to an article covering it on my wife's Facebook. Especially since I didn't know about this or the random gang violence when I brought my family to Louisville two weeks ago for a summer finale' trip to Kentucky Kingdom. Being that this is my first visit to this site, and it ends in .com, I don't know if this is the actual LMPD website. However, for what it is worth: this is 2014, someone somewhere must be able to find one of these posts and back track it through ISPs and IPs to find the original source. It is public common knowledge that this kind of thing CAN be tracked to the original poster, regardless of what technology they may be using to block efforts. Even if it was posted from a computer in a public place like a school or a library, most of those places have security cameras nowadays to catch the perpetrator in the act, on film. I say consider them domestic terrorists and prosecute them to the fullest extent of law possible.

Captain Ron Johnson of the Missouri State Police Department stated in front of a congregation that he wears a uniform and that he is sorry..... We'll Sr. with all do respect you are a descries to the uniform, unworthy and fit to wear one. Maybe pants past your buttocks, tattoos and a flat bill cap worn crooked would suit you better.

The program helps troubled youth and is run by the police department and the university.

LMPD and UofL hired the two UofL students in the case to work with the children as a mental health director and facilitator.

The students said they thought were doing the right thing when they reported the alleged abuse happening within the program, but instead, they said they were reprimanded.

"People are not truthful, don't stand up for what is right," said UofL student Erica Buckner.

Buckner began working with kids in 2013 as part of the Gentleman's Academy.

She and Alexis Keen said their passion is to help get troubled kids on a more promising path, but now they feel helpless.

"We are getting consequences for reporting abuse and it is just really hard to process that," Keen said.

The women said over the last two summers they witnessed LMPD officers working at the six week program, physically and verbally abuse enrolled children.

"They would threaten the children say, 'I'm going to cut your eyes off and throw them across the street if you roll them again,'" Keen said.

The lawsuit claims on one occasion, "scholars in each group expressed that they were wakened at 3 a.m. to engage in physical training."

"They did corporal punishment, would have everybody up and running stairs pushups until 5, 6 a.m.," said Keen.

The women said the program was not supposed to be a bootcamp, but rather an educational tool to help improve grades and control anger.

The lawsuit outlines another occasion when a child took a break from physical training, alleging an officer "… began shouting obscenities toward the scholar, specifically stating, "you quitting...you ain't (expletive) You ain't (expletive) if you quitting... You fat (expletive).""

The women said they made several reports about the alleged incidents and when no action was taken, they called Child Protective Services.

Soon after, they said the retaliation began.

Buckner said her pay was stopped.

"Based on what they said, because I ruined the relationship between LMPD and UofL," she said.

Buckner said steps are being taken to kick her out of her doctoral program.

Keen said she is being kicked out of a med-school lab.

"They are threatening our future for doing the right thing," Keen said.

Buckner also says the Gentleman's Academy" counted as an independent study, for which she received a failing grade.

About 30 children, between the ages of 12 and 17, were enrolled in the Gentleman's Academy per summer session.

UofL and LMPD representatives declined to comment because of the pending litigation.

They have 20 days to respond to the lawsuit
