He was a kind and decent man in his personal life by all accounts. There is absolutely no good reason to demean him. He had a sickness that even lots of money couldn't cure. Some deranged people are harassing his daughter on social media and showing her photoshopped pictures of dead guys acting like it's him. Judgement day isn't kind to people like that. To quote the Russel Crowe character whose picture was posted earlier, "What we do in life echoes in eternity"
