Exactly. Our local government is no different that government at the state level. Our governor doesn’t want to spend the money it takes to arrest, prosecute and jail criminals. It’s expensive to do that and then he wouldn’t have the money for his pet/political projects. Same with Metro. It’s expensive to have real, long lasting public safety. The money is there and it can be done, but then we would have to forgo bicycle lanes, nicer parks, innovation projects, etc, etc, etc. It’s a matter
