First of all, let me put it out there that I'm not a detective, I'm a patrolman. With that being said, how do you come to the conclusion that we have too many detectives? Just what exactly do you think happens after you submit that report into ILeads? If detectives aren't there to follow-up, supplement, investigate, clear, call back or otherwise, that excruciating minutiae will fall right back into the hands of the beat copper that initially took the report.
