I'll answer your question, but no one hasn't answered mine. How come Jeffersonville Police are on the ramp, visible, and actively patrolling, while Metro Officers sit in their cars? My answer to your question is last year my wife had her car broken into at Thurman-Hutchins park. About 2 years before that my car was struck by a Drunk Driver. He reeked of booze, and asked me not to call the cops. He ended up going to hospital. The officer didn't charge him because the guy was claiming he was having a heart attack, and went in the ambulance. I over heard the officers saying a DWI was a "pain in the butt, when they go to the hospital" "I'm not gonna mess with taking blood or something like that" When I got the accident report it never even mentioned it!
