Jefferson County sheriff's deputies in trouble after trying to serve warrant

Because this is not a police state or a Sheriff state and and he has no such power. Here in the USA we do not give total power to one office. That is called checks and balances. Besides that the Sheriff has only very specific duties here. Ever seen him or his Deputies show up at a crime scene and take over? If the deputies want to be police they should move to where they do that. The pompous uninformed comments would be funny if I didn't suspect they were coming from people with arrest powers. Now you know why departments get sued so often.
