I'd say 99.9% of you (nothing's perfect) in every facet of law enforcement are completely awesome and skilled at what you do. Yet, there's all this hatred toward each other. Aren't you on the same team, no matter what your "rank" is, no matter what your job description is? It seems you only get along when a brother falls. That's sad. I'm not a cop, so maybe that's just what you do. Peculiar though. And a little disheartening. I'll standby for the blasting. That seems to be common too.

and in the military when a barricaded suspect is reported, they call a military police SWAT team, not the Rangers, not Special Forces, or anyone else. The only exception could be hostage rescue trained operators which is not run of the mill SF. Tossing drawers in Baghdad or getting in firefights in Anbar are not the same. Combat trigger time is not policing. Time for a reality check or a trip to the VA psychologist for you.
