Jefferson County sheriff's deputies in trouble after trying to serve warrant

Warrants are served all across the Commonwealth everyday.

How many "cowboys" do you hear killed because they didn't have a SWAT team to call and do it for them.

You guys need to get some of your own in check because they are making you look very unprofessional.

There is a s**tload of officers on LMPD who have real life "tactical" combat experience, who are neither on SWAT nor have any interest in trying out for SWAT. For every one SWAT person, there are probably three military combat veterans. We even have several former Special Forces/Rangers/Combat Controllers who would run circles around the average non-military trained SWAT person. SWAT is good at what they do, there's no doubt and we're fortunate to have them, but there are many others on LMPD who've received much more intense and sophisticated training, and who've also served in real combat numerous times over.
