Kentucky v. King said police can enter a home without a warrant if they believe evidence is being destroyed. Kentucky law says people can shoot people who try to enter your home without much of a reason at all. In other words, the law gives police enough flexibility to easily get someone killed if common sense doesn't prevail. Don't just rely on laws and presumed authorities when you should be using common sense too. If you think it's necessary to go in fast, then you should leave it to SWAT.
