The new officers who want to work look up to the experienced officers who work. The new officers who came for an easy paycheck may look up to you, but I doubt it, because the lazy don't even respect themselves. Guys like you spend all day trying to convince people how you earned your right to be sarcastic and lazy, when really you are lucky to not have been fired yet. Some divisions are a lot better than others though. You should stay in whatever stankhole that allows your kind of officer to fester there. There are still CO's who would make your work life miserable.
