Thanks for the financial advice. I'm glad that you have had no unexpected financial obligations arise but accusing folks that depend on off-duty of "over spending" is unfair. Some of us are unable or unwilling to depend on the generosity of others. You may not know it, but there are officers that count on off duty to help ease the financial burdens with expenses related to seriously ill children and family members. I guess you just think that they too, are frivolous and financially irresponsible.
