City to hire expert to determine appropriate size of police force

There is not enough to do here for a full time swat team. I like swat. I also see the political side of beefed up use of force being used. I am not saying I like that, but the politicians would. If the argument is that there is not enough officers on the street, making a full time unit that doesn't patrol won't help. May as well keep viper. I do think swat can be used more. Hnt also. You just have to be willing to call them out. That would be cheaper than a full time unit. Just saying.
