Some acted like @sses 20 years ago and probably 40 or 80 years ago. Some were active, some were slugs, and some were house mice. When a 25 year guy hears 10 year guys talking down to rookies, laying down and pretending they have earned the right to retire in place, it turns your stomach. The city didn't give you that badge to lay down, but did give you the ability to retire young and do something else. The department is not policing like it used to and the criminals know it. GET OUT THERE AND ARREST ONE FOR THE GIPPER or just decide you aren't ready to watch the metal detector yet.
