The number from the large counties are far outnumbered by the rural departments most of the time. The KSP academy is much more military than LMPD. A Parris Island copycat with weekends off. Richmond is their Mini Me academy because of all the ex-KSP they have running it. If you have been through both Richmond and the LMPD academy recently then I will buy you a condolence card for that. Putting real vets through militaristic police academies run by people who never spent a day is a big waste of time
