Unfortunately, Metro pays "double" for a lot of things ... including things LMPD officers will defend to their dying day - such as not sending recruits to Richmond. Jefferson County residents probably pay at least a third to support the place, yet we get very little from it. Having objective parties evaluate the recruits might get a few of them kicked out that SHOULD be kicked out - they don't take any nonsense from their boys and girls.
