Violence will be tolerated, because no one will do anything about it at court. JCYC wont take anyone and the jail is getting just as bad. So that was b.s. Curfew change like that will do anything, you can't enforce that either because you cant find a parent. Take them to safe place, deal with the attitudes of the counter lady. They walk out after you leave....nothing. Adult AI? nope to drunk! refused start a hospital detail. Bring back the misdemeanor lock ups so we can solve some of the problems (at least for a couple hours)

Louisville is well on its way to the being the next Detroit. The democratic majority in this city are dedicated to keeping certain parts of this city under their thumb. If they control them then the community thinks they can't live without government help. Just read about the shady dealing, on the WDRB website, about how the political paybacks have been used during the Walmart site land purchases. Whenever there is a problem in education or the improper behavior of individuals then the answer on the left is always more money! Kids aren't testing well...spend more money, riots in the street....spend more money. The political powers in this city also offend me by having minority / community partnership coordinator engagement specialists...blah, blah, blah. Are you saying that certain parts of the community are too dysfunctional to identify and address problems on their own? Does the city pay for special community whatevers in PRP, Jtown, Highlands, Fern Creek, Cresent Hill? What are we supposed to just believe that we can solve problems in our parts of town without an overpaid bureaucrat's help?! This city is and has always been run by Democrats and the West and South ends are and have always been ignored. You would think that if the answer is democratic leadership that this city should be a shining example. Building a community center is not leadership it's throwing money at you to keep you quiet. Louisville and Kentucky are at the bottom of most quality of life lists and until we clean house politically it always will be!

Why is the Mayor asking law abiding citizens to leave their guns at home for Thunder? They aren't the problem. Why doesn't he just request the criminals, misunderstood youth, and thugs to stay at home? Oh, I remember why. It's because this is Hug-A-Thug Louisville, he's Democrat, and he doesn't want to make the African American community angry.

Did anybody else notice the subliminal message written on the edge of Mr. Waddell's Kentucky Revised Statutes in sharpie? Sometimes irony can be a cruel and heartless b 1tch goddess.

Leave it to the right wing nut jobs to exploit the Mayor's message for any possibilty of gaining political traction. He is the Mayor and he will promote non violence. Is anyone surprised by this? Everytime a Republican speaks I end up vomiting a little in my mouth.

FOP President Mutchler did a great job talking to the Metro Council today. He gets grief on this site but he did a fine job and opened their eyes to several things today
