Street thugs want to prey on unarmed victims. The more CCW holders to deter them, the better. The police department's hands are tied by the hug-a-thug court system. You won't see any of those wannabe gangsters stalking people outside of what they perceive as the "gun free zones". They're cowards. Unfortunately for them, it's perfectly legal for CCW holders to carry downtown too.
