If the citizens of Louisville actually knew how many officers are patrolling a specific division during one shift I believe they would be surprised. There should now be overtime details several nights a week if they truly want to help keep this from happening again. The 1st division can't baby sit the great lawn and big 4 bridge every night on mid watch. They have other priorities and other police matters that need to be dealt with. A 4-5 officer detail with a Sgt would be a start to show a presence.
