Police search for roving teens responsible for downtown assaults

Police report 10 to 15 male teenagers got into a fight with several girls near the Big Four Bridge Saturday night.
The teens proceeded to different locations downtown and assaulted two innocent victims, according to police.
LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Police are searching for a group of teens accused of jumping a woman and a man in separate incidents in downtown Louisville.
Two victims were beat up Saturday night and taken to University Hospital in serious condition.
Dwight Mitchell, spokesman for the Louisville Metro Police Department, said 10 to 15 male teenagers ranging from juveniles to adults were at Waterfront Park when they got into a fight with several girls near the Big Four Bridge.
The teens left the park, police said, and went to Bader's gas station on 1st and Jefferson Streets where they assaulted a woman inside the store.
According to officers, they then moved to 6th Street and Broadway where they assaulted a man on the street.
No arrests have been made in connection to these incidents.
