You're out of your skull!! I came from LPD and LPD was a serious bedrock for cronyism and "taking care of your buddies" first. I miss a lot about LPD but it had it's issues too. There is a person on LMPD now who is probably still technically a Captain. I won't call out names but he is the grandfather of taking care of his own. He definately wasn't alone.
