David James can't serve as Metro Council member and UofL police officer, County Attorney says |

Why, when so many people in platoons openly talk about laying down and doing as little as possible? Shrink patrol by 20%, put the best in pro-active units and get rid of the ones who do not pack the gear to serve in my beloved department.

Dismantle Viper! I couldn't agree more. Viper and Division level Flex Detectives, are overlapping each other. Get rid of Viper and strengthen the Division level Flex platoons with those bodies.

If they got rid of divisions when they caught officers breaking the law, most of Louisville would have no patrol. There would be no narcotics unit either. It takes an incredibly stupid person to say a whole unit should go unless maybe all of the criminals have left town forever. There is not enough focus on the people running criminal groups who aren't standing on a street corner. Too bad the higher ups are mostly interested in some easy lookups to keep the stats artificially inflated with low impact investigations. It's a lot easier to arrest street corner dealers and meth heads than interstate traffickers and gang leaders running dope into Louisville.
