Who cares about the timing? The law is the law. He and the metro council members should have know about this...They do have a lawyer on staff. So "sooner" doesn't matter. And no, I'm not a fan either.

I know for a fact this issue was brought up to ULPD 4 years ago when David was first elected. He had yet to take office with the council, but it was pointed out to UofL there was a conflict of interest due to taking an additional oath of office. They chose to ignore it.
