Oh puleeez! Can't you see this is a political hit job? He's been on the council for years now and BAM!!, suddenly this comes up. Yes, the law is the law and should be respected as such, but the timing of this is very suspicious. You mention it should have been brought up sooner? Well, it wasn't an issue "sooner". It only became an issue when somebody decided to find anything possible to get him removed. I have never been a fan of his...quite frankly, I never even liked him, but this is all personal.

Actually, you have it backwards. The law says that if you take an incompatible position, you "lose" the first one, which means any arrests he made would be the issue, not any votes ....
