LMPD is not currently accepting laterals. LMPD will never accept laterals because the legal advisors see training as the most significant liability to LMPD. Regardless if you have been certified already, LMPD wants to rest assured your training (every aspect of it) was under its control. Even if it is more economically feasible for LMPD to accept someone who already has been certified, this does not outweigh its peace of mind that your training was adminitered by its own Training Bureau.
