It's unfortunate that this department had to realize that this Web site was a trap set up by PSU. however now that people know it's not anonymous will they still post things one here? The department tracks all entries based on the security code you enter and that shows them a URL, OR PHONE NUMBER. .. they then match that with Co tact info to see if you are LMPD. Then you become a target. ....sissy as Psu.

No offense but a bad idea. You don't want civilians trying to assign sworn officers and be in charge of sworn personnel. Also, civilians don't have the necessary authority to call around and direct personnel. Again, those civilians should also not determine what contractual obligations exist, etc. Just won't be a good system. If we went that route, we could get rid of half our officers and pay the civilians "making half as much". We could hire 600 report takers and send the sworn on runs that required officer presence. Not sure anyone would like that either, especially if you are the cop that gets laid off. Too many layoffs.
