Louisville police begin tracking problematic officers for prosecutors, defense

When you are getting pummeled you may be lucky to get anything in your hand. They will not stand idly by as you get out each of the gadgets to see if they work. My advice to street thugs is to not pick fights with armed people if they want to live a long productive life of stealing cars and smoking meth in between prison stretches. People under attack will go straight for their gun and use them if they continue attacking, and no jury in Kentucky is going to care. This ain't New York City, welcome to CCW land.

You ARE aware that the Force Continuum does not require you necessarily move sequentially up each level until you get to the proper level for the threat against you, right? Perhaps you just worded it in a confusing way....I hope.

You are correct, however, on the part about using force one level higher than that being used/threatened against you.
