You're sooo right. I'm going back to patrol at the beginning of the year. It is no longer worth being a "detective". Tired of all the Grand Jury subpoenas to Facebook, Craigslist, Cricket phones, stolen credit cards, and on and on and on for the SAME pay. When you do get a decent case, guess what? No cooperation from suspect or witnesses. I will soon be handling my runs and going home. Period!
