When I was testing for state police one of the guys was overweight and had a hard time doing the sit ups. when He failed one of the state guys slapped him on the butt and said "don't worry fat boy, LMPD will hire you". That is the perception of most other agencies in the state and the reason i went to corrections. I have no regrets.
