Work hard? All the work has previously been done..... Same street's are closed, same exit plan, nothing ever changes. All they have to do is place bodies in the slots. LOL. 5 Lieutenants and a Sgt is a waste and very poor management. Oh, 2 Deputy Chief's are needed, but 2 Assistant Chiefs are also a waste of a salary.

You get exactly what you signed up for. Police work. Stop your bitching and crying. If you don't like what you do, get yourself another job. So sick of seeing cops on here ***** about everything. Maybe some of you should have actually read the job description or asked a cop what they did before you got hired. They direct traffic. They work details. They babysit prisoners. They take accident reports. They go to the same house over and over for domestics. They go to court after being up all night. Put in for a Chief's job since you seem to have all the answers. With your knowledge and experience, you are sure to be a hot commodity. And as for that special events unit, get your facts straight. There are four Lt's. The other one runs Community Relations. And the new Sergeant is assigned to Community Relations. If you are so damned concerned about what they do all day, go up and shadow them. Or better yet, call them and ask them instead of bitching all the time behind a key board. Have you ever been paid 8 hours for a detail that didn't last 8 hours? Have you ever taken an hour for lunch? Ever hung out in a Thornton's for a cup of coffee? If so, should you have been out "working" every second. Good God, get a life and stay in your own lane. And get a towel for the crying and bitching. Worry about YOUR part of the plan.
