One dark day in the middle of the night

Two dead boys got up to fight

Back to back they faced each other

Drew their swords and shot each other

Where's the list?

Louisville police begin tracking problematic officers for prosecutors...

December 9th, 2013 @ 1:05AM (10 years ago)

26 out of 1,181... Actually that comes in at .022%. Not too bad considering I would bet that more than 50% of the politicians and Metro Government agency heads that run this town lie, cheat, and steal on a daily basis. Funny thing is everyone knows it but they only want to pick on the police. Just a bunch of hypocrites if you ask me. K I S S MY A S S!!

Does being on the list mean you will no longer have to go to court? How can I get on that exclusive list?

Where is the sensationalist yellow journalism regarding stories about all of the judges, attorneys, Metro Council members, legislators, mayors, and governors that lie to our faces on a daily basis? You suck Riley, good work, NOT!!! You're a turd in the punchbowl of life you phuk-tard.

If you're on this list do you still get hand picked for traffic details?

Court is overrated and made important by the law graduates who prance around in that filthy Hall of Justice. They think officers worship at the alter down there. Truth is, everybody knows its a joke and a huge waste of time. I have been on for 7 years and I'm still shocked how little accountability there is for criminals. I wish I could never go to court again...being on a list to not testify may be embarrassing to anybody on it but really who cares, its just court.

WDRB website only shows 23. Are there 26 or only 23? Hope Riley didn't lie or he will be on a list. You still suck Riley!!

Everyone that posts regarding this story should add a little extra note to Jason Riley to let him know that he sucks.

You still suck Riley!!!!!!

Chief had to throw in the comment that those caught lying and unable to go to court will be terminated. The housecats realized any officer with common sense would purposely lie about something just so they could accomplish their goal of never having to go to court again because it's nothing more than a giant farce in Jefferson County. The prosecuting attorneys are usually golfing with the defense for $50 a hole before 1 PM when the weathers nice. Investigate that Riley; cause you still suck!!!

If I can't lie I won't be able to back-stab and get promoted.

I'm not sure how LPD did things but on the old county police, it was a policy that if you lied you could and would be fired. Bob White changed the policy for LMPD. Do you think he did that to hide problem children who he needed to promote or keep on the department?

If LMPD trained officers in Kung Fu, these things would not happen. They all refused to listen to my recommendation to add 2 years to the academy for this training. Put that in the next article. I am available for interviews. Ask for Master Po-Po.

I just stick to patrol...same pay and pension...Detectives are more likely to be caught up in a trick bag.

I don't know what lawyer signed off on this story and the publication of this list being legally defensible, but a couple of these guys may have grounds to sue the department and WDRB for defamation of character. Putting everyone in one boat and saying they're all untrustworthy on TV is a good way to lose some money.

Always be sure to ask a good PRIVATE attorney about what your chances of getting sued are.

Interesting article. I think Louisville should follow suit with the Seattle officers tactics. Just don't worry about the crime since no one wants to prosecute it anyway. Can't wait for Fourth Street Live and YUM to become a battle ground of crime.

It's not illegal to have a cracked windshield. Some officers better read the statute.....

We no longer have any true news sources, they are all "media outlets" with the sole purpose of entertainment. Once you realize that they are just trying to entertain you, not inform you, you can let go of the fantasy that we have news.

The model police officer for Louisville. No complaints. No disciplinary actions. No use of force. No lawsuits. No talking back. Never complains. Can stay on their traffic detail post for hours without needing to urinate. Doesn't ever want a pay raise.

Liars should be fired

December 11th, 2013 @ 3:59PM (10 years ago)

Wow. I wish this list would have been printed sooner. I wouldn't have voted to re-elect a liar to the FOP board in Priddy.

Sergeant Sherry Briggs left narcotics for special ops! How much brass do they need in special ops? 5 Lieutenants and now a Sergeant. All they do is implement a traffic plan for street closures during events. Talk about a waste of taxpayer dollars.

The problem comes up when you have qualified Sergeants (with plenty oftime in rank) apply for a job and a jr sergenat who has less then 1 yr in rank gets the job because they were there before as an officer/detective. Look at some of the sergeants in special jobs (Training CIS PSU/PIU) and check when they got the job. A lot of themm were transfered into the job right after getting their stripes even though there were senior sergeants who put in for it.

Someone should ask the mayor why homicide has the lowest clearance rate in years and that's with the lowest # of homicides in a decade.....more time to work the mere 48 cases they have....its the youngest squad picking up new cases I would venture to say in 50 years...
