How many more weeks of free unemployment checks do you have left?

Yes, it happens - but crying to the front office when you take your whack for it is totally unacceptable.

KMA rookie. First off learn proper english and express yourself with it. I have been policing for over 23 years and still enjoy the job and working the street. Not ready to retire either. With that said, NEVER have I forgotten my duty belt or left my weapon in a restroom where a thug might get it. We are not talking about leaving it at home or other "secured" location. We are talking about leaving it in an area known for thugs and dealers who could have used it to harm one of our own. Not even to mention she went to back others up without it. What would have happened it the **** hit the fan? Others would have had to come and save her azz while taking care of the problem. As for going to the front office, that is just showing how her career will be taken care of. Every time she gets in trouble she will have someone to cry to who will take care of her wounds. Grow thick skin because 25 years is a long time to be a wimp. As for the other ones who are FMLA and consitanly sick, get another job if you cannot perform this one. No one likes to carry an extra load because you are slackers. And as for not leaving my name,,,, I will when I retire and the front office who take care of these people cannot come and take retaliation against those who see the abuse of power going on. Come on Chief Conarad, you see this is going on. Correct the problem as you are correcting the officers on the list for court.

It can happen to ANYONE?!?! You are an idiot. Her gun did not fall out of her holster. She took it out of her holster and sat it down while she went to the restroom. Which is TOTALLY inexcusable in itself. If you can not even use the restroom without having to un-holster your weapon, then you have no business carrying a badge and gun. I am so glad a kid did not go into that restroom and come out say "mommy, mommy, look what I found!!"
