Investigation into LMPD officer raises questions about his criminal cases

$41k is not much compared to other departments. Officers make $15k more per year working in several other cities. The Chief makes much more than the chiefs of those cities though. I'd like to hear the city's explanation for that disparity.

$20 per hour sucks too once you take out taxes. It's the same rate offered for off duty 20 years ago when most people weren't even paying taxes. I'd rather do something more productive with my time than being somebody's security guard or traffic beacon, also known as a roadside target for drunks.
