I think was the other response eluded to was that Officers (such as Troopers) who must be self-sufficient and conduct their investigations from first dispatch to court adjudication (along with their "regular" runs) gain broader, well-rounded experience.

Yes, some LMPD guys in certain divisions probably make a higher number of calls for service in a given time frame, but that doesn't necessarily equate to a more "experienced" officer.

I feel sorry for them state cops they act as if they are in the USMC and they are very low paid I made over 80k this yare so far.
