That greater reliability talk is hype. Maybe it was true once upon a time. Today they are no more reliable than most of the handguns made for police use in a climate like Louisville's. They can be if you're in a desert and patrol during sandstorms, but so is an AK-47 and police SWAT teams aren't using those. If you want to shoot while swimming in a lake, others like the Sig P226 have been used for years for that purpose by the military. I don't know anybody who will be doing that on LMPD. If you
