Meet the man in "The Mustang" -- LMPD's most feared traffic officer |
RE: Meet the man in "The Mustang" -- LMPD's most feared traffic...
Not the previous poster, but I don't want to buy some junk polymer lowest bidder gun. Nobody but LMPD thinks that's a good idea. The only reason agencies use it is because they are cheap and low maintenance. They are much less accurate than many other alternatives. They don't like training officers how to shoot well either though. The bare minimum government mentality prevails as usual.

RE: Meet the man in "The Mustang" -- LMPD's most feared traffic...
Actually he is pretty much right.... the only thing issued is three sets of Class A's (give or take depending on what class it was) and lately four sets of Class B's. A winter coat, a mag light, a patrol bag and some pepper spray along with the taser/taser holster and radio/radioholder. Oh yeah and a lightly used traffic vest. Maybe a few other misc. items but definitely not the baton/handcuffs/gun/boots/gloves/leather gear
Check your facts before you so boldly throw around the phrase "Wrong again Biggin"
