I know you are going to disagree, but think about it: Not guilty DOES mean innocent. See, "not guilty" is an absolute assertion in a court of law. If one is not guilty, the presumption is they are innocent. Otherwise, you would have proven guilt. There is no in between or almost in the eyes of the court.
