Amen. Some people get paid to sell cars, some to wait tables, others to make widgets on assembly lines. I play "that game" that the previous posted mentioned. I handle my beat and get a few stats here and there and try to have fun where I can. It really isn't that bad. First step is to turn down the idealism. Don't forget, government sucks and our bosses are government (technically we are too but I try not to think about it). Play the game, help some folks out where you can, get paid. Its easy!
