Stop worrying about what other officers do. You need to mind your business. LMPD will deal with those officers. Your argument that it leaves the division short is weak because that is not your problem.

If I am sick, I should NOT be expected to come in to work!! Unless LMPD has doctors on its staff to refute what my licensed doctor is saying, I should be considered unfit to work if my doctor says so...

If 1 officer being on vacation or sick leaves the division short, then it's the department's fault for having only a bare minimum number of officers. I blame the Mayor, the council, the citizens, and the Chief. There is a drug cartel crime wave happening and all they can do is put people on details and act like everything's fine. What part of "EVERYTHING IS NOT FINE" don't you understand?
