Seriously though, the day there is public outrage over drug trafficking and violent crime is the day the Mayor will be looking to clean house on the department. This command staff is geared to small city low crime policing, not an all-out war on crime against the likes of cartel members. They would have to hire some retirees from departments who do that well.
