Heroin epidemic worsening in Louisville |
RE: Heroin epidemic worsening in Louisville
I don't have any evidence to dispute that claim, but that seems like an exxaggerated number. Think about it, 10-12 per week would mean you're averaging over 500 in a year. It just seems like a claim made for shock value and not real substance.
RE: Heroin epidemic worsening in Louisville
Louisville isn't the only place with a big increase in O.D.'s and heroin trafficking. The O.D.'s are doubling and even quadrupling in some places. The whole region is being inundated. This is not just a local police problem. Law enforcement will have to get quite a bit more aggressive to deal with the drug networks bringing it in to start shutting them down. Business as usual is not going to work with these guys.
