Indianapolis police shootings highlight balance between safety, cost

I have been out of Louisville and other depts have LOTS OF POLICIES. I have been going to work for MORE than 20 years. I make 90% of all my own decisions and have to put a few off o a CO. We are the biggest whinning dept I have been a part if...Its not hard to come to work and follow law and procedures without complaint. gezzzzzzzzzz

Many departments have much tighter restrictions on off duty work than LMPD, including no use of a police vehicle, no uniform, and in bigger cities they ban it outright.
