Indianapolis police shootings highlight balance between safety, cost

Real cops patrol, squirrels run radar and write tickets(excluding traffic unit since thats their job) to tax paying citizens. You get dope and guns running radar, whoopty freakin do so do officers who diligently ride their beats and not hang off the radio cause they're always on traffic stops. Thats why you are hated because the rest of us are tired of picking up your report runs while your out squirreling. I find it funny listening to all these young arrogant officers who trash veteren officers for not being as active as they are. Guess what guys show some respect for the guys who have been there done that. One day you will be in that position as well. I've never seen so much divide on a department. When I was a rookie I looked up to my veteren officers and learned from them, now a days you youg bucks think you know it all when the fact of the matter is you don't know *******. Your not any better than officers from other divisions or departments. LMPD isn't the premire police department to work for in the state. When I first started applying I went up against 3000 people for 20 spots. Now we cant even get 300 people for 50-70 spots a yr. This place is a joke.
