Indianapolis police shootings highlight balance between safety, cost |
RE: Indianapolis police shootings highlight balance between safety...
The question is where did he obtain the firearm - under federal statue, and as such Kentucky law, a person under the age of 21 may not possess a pistol unless they qualify for one of the exemptions. And going to high school is not on that list - just sayin'...
"Dealers are prohibited from selling or delivering firearms other than shotguns or rifles (e.g., handguns) or ammunition for those firearms to any person the dealer knows or has reasonable cause to believe is under the age of 21.
Unlicensed persons may not sell, deliver or otherwise transfer a handgun or handgun ammunition to any person the transferor knows or has reasonable cause to believe is under the age of 18.
Exceptions are provided for temporary transfers made for specified activities, including employment, ranching, farming, target practice and hunting."

Out of 138 comments posted on this story - not one of you "police Officers" even mentioned your fallen Indy Police Officer brother! Your a sad bunch of cops. Only interested in "what's in it for me". At Grignon's funeral there was 14 Lebanon, Ky police vehicles present out of 14 in their fleet including the officer killed last November. At his funeral, there were 6 lmpd vehicles out of 1200 - so disrespectful/sad. I was at both funerals and those are the FACTS. LMPD is slowing getting a "bad" reputation around this and surrounding states - not that most of YOALL care.
