Indianapolis police shootings highlight balance between safety, cost

They want officers writing tickets so they won't harass the gangstas or even know there are gangstas everywhere in the west end selling dope or robbing people all over town. It's all to keep the illusion that Louisville is a gang-free city where police only write traffic tickets. If the brass met a gang member they'd give him a big wet kiss.

The other reason is they don't want police to be making arrests like before White came to town. They want to keep the protesters quiet for the Mayor so he can win re-election. That has been the #1 duty of the administration since Abramson became Metro Mayor.

If you don't write enough tickets they won't let you be the police anymore and they will force you to be a car that only takes reports. I thought we had civilians to do that. They philosophy is to take an able bodied police officer and belittle them by putting them in a BS position. I don't think that will really make them drink the kool-aid. It will probably backfire.
