It is cheaper for the state to pay KSP and CVE to work "state" construction zones than it is to pay you. You guys really need to get over yourselves!! There are several depts. in Jefferson County who are smaller but make more money than you... Just about every dept. starting at Taylorsville Road north makes more than you guys and have better working conditions.. How many Anchorage, Indian Hills, Prospect or J-Town officers do you see working a ton of off duty? As far as Bullitt County coming into Jefferson County, who would you rather see, BCSO or Clark County IN ? There has always been a ton of work to go around and will be for years to come. Oh, and just to get you guys stirred up. I have work more off duty jobs since I retired than I did in the last 15 years of my 25 years on the job.. Seems that my retired badge is just as good as your active... Stay safe, and get along with each other. No matter what your patch says
